Towards a better sounding world (2012) is a sound installation that I did in my exchange year at the Utrecht School of the Arts (in Holland).

The installation addresses the issue of noise pollution. There's a lot of unwanted sounds in our living environment and it's stated that noise pollution has a negative impact on our overall physical and mental health.

In the installation you start by walking in to a city with a lot of noise pollution. As you walk onwards the city slowly turns into a noise pollution free atmosphere. The installation was made for a course which theme was sustainability and green environment. I recorded and edited the soundscapes and the original idea was mine. The graphic design and visual look was done by other students.
